Giving Back Generation is a charity awaiting approval by Charities Commission, dedicated to empowering individuals, supporting local communities, and advancing opportunities through education, creativity, and social initiatives. We operate exclusively for the public benefit in line with the requirements of the Charity Commission and our charitable objectives.

GBG is committed to creating positive, lasting change in the lives of young people and the wider community. Our work is driven by a belief in the power of education, creativity, and intergenerational support to break cycles of disadvantage and open up opportunities for growth and self-development. Our services include (but are not limited to):

  • Offering community engagement opportunities and volunteering placements for people of all backgrounds.
  • Providing resources and support to individuals and families facing financial hardship, including essential items such as food, clothing, and other basic necessities.
  • Operating an online store where products created by our volunteers and partners help raise vital funds for our charitable mission.

By placing an order, you are offering to purchase the product(s) selected. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, including but not limited to situations where:

  • There is an error in pricing or product description.
  • We suspect fraud or unauthorised or illegal activity.
  • You do not meet our eligibility criteria.

Should we cancel your order, any payment made will be promptly refunded.

5.3 Payments

Payments must be made in full at the time of ordering and are processed securely via trusted third-party payment processors. We do not store or retain your payment information. Prices are shown in GBP and include all applicable UK taxes unless otherwise stated. For international orders, you are responsible for any additional customs duties, fees, or taxes as required by your country’s regulations.

5.4 Shipping and Delivery

We offer shipping within the UK and internationally, subject to delivery partner availability and local restrictions. Delivery estimates are provided at checkout, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including customs processing or carrier delays. We will do our best to keep you informed of any issues.

5.5 Returns and Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unused, undamaged items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery. Unless the item is defective or incorrect, you are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. 6. Volunteering Opportunities

GBG offers a wide range of volunteering opportunities, from supporting events and community outreach to contributing specialist skills and developing new projects. All volunteers must:

  • Uphold the highest standards of conduct and integrity, complying with GBG’s safeguarding, equality, diversity, and ethical policies.
  • Complete any training, induction, or background checks required for their role. Depending on the nature of the volunteering position, this may include a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and completion of safeguarding training, in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy and Charity Commission guidelines.
  • Follow the Volunteer Code of Conduct provided during onboarding, as well as any instructions from GBG staff or project leaders.

GBG reserves the right to suspend or terminate any volunteer placement at its absolute discretion if the volunteer breaches these Terms, fails to uphold our values, or acts in a way that could harm our beneficiaries, reputation, or charitable mission.

Safeguarding and Whistleblowing:
We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all who interact with our charity. All volunteers, staff, and service users are encouraged to report any safeguarding concerns or suspected wrongdoing, in confidence, through our safeguarding and whistleblowing mechanisms. Reports are handled in line with Charity Commission guidance and our internal policies.

7. Donations and Fundraising

All donations made to GBG are greatly appreciated and go directly toward supporting our charitable objectives and programs. Donations are non-refundable except where a processing error has occurred. GBG ensures all donations are used efficiently, transparently, and only for our charitable purposes.

Fundraising Activities:
We conduct all fundraising activities in accordance with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice and Charity Commission guidance (CC20). Where GBG provides food or meals, we adhere strictly to all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene legislation.
